Integration
All our servers are provisioned using a custom built AWS AMI that suits exactly what we do. Hosting.
Any changes to the system images are automatically pushed to other servers within minutes, if required.
Network
Our network is connected to Australia’s fastest networks with multiple diverse paths.
We have customised a very customised network that separates all servers from each other, preventing one server from interfering in the operation of any other server.
Firewall rules are locked down to only those ports required for each machine.
Hardware
All our servers are HP Enterprise Servers that have been custom built to our requirements to ensure high reliability and response times and are located in one of Australia’s premier Data Centre’s. Needless to say, the servers are fast and provide more than enough power for even the biggest web hosting applications.
Data Security
Data Security is a very hot topic in this day and age. As such, we take it very seriously.
All data is stored on encrypted drives that only we have the keys for. We also have very tight ingress and egress rules on both our firewalls and servers.
Linux servers are secured further by PHPsuexec and mod_security rulesets.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
We maintain our own backups for up to 2 months on all our hosting servers using an incremental daily-weekly-monthly automated backup system. While these backups will not assist if you delete a file, they do prevent major data loss in the event of a catastrophe.
